Brecon and Radnor

Friday 16 February
A visit to the Allensmore Nurseries at 10am near Great Brampton HR2 9LX and lunch at the Kilpeck Inn HR2 9DN
Followed by an afternoon visit at 2pm The Lasketts HR2 8HZ.
NB these three venues are all comparitively close to each other about five miles south west of Hereford.

We will meet at Allensmore Nurseries where we shall be given as guided tour of the extensive nurseries by the directing staff.
This will involve quite a lot of possibly muddy walking so come suitably equipped.

We will leave Allensmore at 12pm and make our way to the Kilpeck Inn where we shall have a light lunch and leave by 1.30 pm.
We will hope to reach The Lasketts by 2pm where we will be able to walk around the gardens and talk to the head gardener.
Many of you may remember this garden when it was owned and run by Sir Roy Strong, it is now owned and managed by a trust.
The Tea Room will be open for our use if we wish.

£28 a head and will include the light lunch, but not drinks which will be available, at the Kilpeck Inn.
Tea at The Lasketts will be available at your own cost.
