\Vednesdav 10th .lune Visit Cyfronydd Hall, near \Velshpool (by kind permission of Lord and Lady Hague of Richmond) followed by lunch at the Derwen Garden Centre.
Afternoon tour of the gardens and house of Bryngwyn Hall (by kind permission of Auriol, Marchioness of Linlithgow) followed by tea.
Finally drinks at Pen y Pare by kind

Tuesday 7th July, visit to Broadward Hall at Clungunford SY7 - 0QA  and then in the afternoon on to The Ferns in Clun.

Broadward Hall  is a family home and host to the National Collection of Historic Hemerocallis. Caro Skyrme (conservationist, plantswoman, lecturer, writer, collection holder and nursery owner) is reviving and restoring a garden dating back to at least Regency times.  Grade 11 Listed House dating back to Medieval times and now a family home, Broadward Hall sits in the glorious Marches
country.

10.30 am Arrival for coffee/tea and biscuits and welcome talk by Caro Skyrme, followed by a tour of the garden.

13.00pm Lunch: Quiche and Salad in the Music Room of the House, followed by coffee/tea  and cake.

The Ferns, Newport Street, Clun, SY7 8JZ 

From Craven Arms. Take 2nd R signed into Ford St. At T-junction turn R for parking in the Memorial Hall car park (100 yds). Retrace steps to T-junc. The Ferns is on Left.

A formal village garden of about 3 acres approached via a drive lined with crab apple and pear  trees. On the right is the autumn garden, giving fine views of the surrounding hills. From the front courtyard garden a path leads through double herbaceous borders full of late summer colour, to further rooms of yew, beech and box. There is also a rear courtyard with tender exotics and a greenhouse, plus a lily pond and garden statuary.  

14.30 arrival and welcome talk by Mr Andrew Dobbin followed by a tour of the garden. After the tour we can get tea in a couple of tea rooms in the village of Clun.

 £40 including lunch- (Members can bring wine if they like and should bring glasses).

This will be followed
by a short garden visit and drinks at The Whittern, Lyonshall, by kind invitation of Mr and Mrs Geo Hilditch.

Thursday I0th September Hampton Court
followed by lunch. Afternoon to Stockton Bury Gardens, near Leominster.

Thursdav 22nd September Lunch at Berrington Hall, near Leominster and then an extensive
tour of Frank P Matthews Tree Nursery.

Thursdav 26th November \Vinter Lecture at Peterstone Court Hotel
A potted history
of Portmeirion. the.first 1OO years 1926-2026 by Rachel Hunt , Collections Curator for Portmeirion Village and the Susan Williams-Ellis Foundation, followed by tea.
