Tuesday 26 March: 7.30pm - A talk on ‘The Work of WHGT’ to the Llanidloes Gardening Club, at the Elephant Hotel, Llanidloes.
Talk by Simon Baynes in my role as national Chairman of WHGT. There will be tea and coffee available as well as the bar in the hotel.
Thursday 18 April: 6.30-8pm - Book launch of ‘Lake Vyrnwy – The Story of a Sporting Hotel’ by John Baynes, George Westropp and Simon Baynes.

Saturday 15th June: 6pm - A Celebration of Gregynog Hall and gardens with Trevor Fishlock and Prue Keely Davies

Sunday 23 June: 2- 6pm - Garden Open at Vaynor Park, Berriew.
Extensive gardens with dramatic views set in fine parkland. Of particular note are the beautiful herbaceous borders and rose garden.
Teas will be served and there will be a large plant stall.
Welekend 20- 21 July 10.30-5.30pm: Summer Fayre at Bryngwyn Hall Llanfyllin, SY22 5LJ
This will be held in the lovely Grade 2* listed gardens with many new exhibitors selling the best of regional food and drink, unusual plants and trees, garden sculpture, ceramics, wood carvings and high quality crafts.

Saturday 17 August 7-9pm: Mid-Wales Opera in the gardens of Powis Castle, Welshpool.
